3D Fitness Pilates & Yoga Workshop
Sunday 7th October 2012 (FULLY BOOKED)
This workshop day introduces you to 3 Revolutionary Fitness Pilates/Yoga style classes designed for functional fitness and fast results. To achieve a strong, lean, flexible and fit body we need to use a variety of functional fitness techniques and train in a very balanced way. This workshop will take you through 3 carefully planned separate workouts that really work the body in 3D. You will train the entire muscular structure, the core and cardiovascular system.
Fatburning Fitness Pilates:1pm-1.45pm
This is an explosive fitness Pilates and fatburning class. There will be a full body warm up followed by 2 fast explosive workouts designed to work the entire body and burn fat. Using lastest fitness concepts and Pilates fundamentals you can learn how to train your entire body effectively with fast results. You will need to wear your trainers and bring a small hand towel.
Pilates Deep Core Workout: 2pm-2.45pm
This class mixes traditional and contempory Pilates/Yoga core/abdominal exercises to achieve a strong powerful core which is the basis of all movement, exercise, sport and dance. This class will use various Pilates, Yoga and fitness methods to train, develop and challenge the entire core area to move your level of fitness and strenght to the next level.
Yoga Deep Developmental Stretch. 3pm-4.30pm
During this session various yoga postures/stretches will be explored and developed to gain greater levels of flexibility. Very often we have asymmetry in the body and areas that are very tight and congested. In this class you will identify your tight and challenging areas and learn how to improve them with a very specfic technique. This Yoga style class will stretch the entire body in a systematic way with emphasis on the shoulders, spine, lower back, hamstrings and hips.The class will conclude with a full deep relaxation.

Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series Workshop (November 2012)
Learn the foundations and primary series sequence. This is a dynamic, fun, invigourating and energetic style of Yoga. Suitable for new starters or those who are out of practice. The workshop will be 3 Hours long with a 15 min tea break( Hot drinks included).
You will learn:
Ujjayi Breathing (specific breathing for this style of Yoga)
How to engage your Bandhas (engaging deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles)
2 Sun salutations (warm up sequence)
Seated sequence (as far as Navasana)
Half Vinyasa ( how to jump through and back out of Poses)
Finishing Sequence (closing and cooling down sequence)
